Stephan is a games researcher at the Institute of Interactive Systems and Data Science, Graz University of Technology.
He has always been fascinated by games and even more when he realised which dimensions advancing technology is able to add. Throughout his computer science degree, technology-enhanced learning and related topics became a field of interest.
His thesis combined mobile and game-based learning with augmented reality to engage young students with computational thinking.
He sees enormous potential in mobile devices and current technologies such as AR and VR for education.
Stephan has collected working experience at the eGovernment Innovation Center (Austria), Graz University of Technology, EA Madrid, NXP Semiconductors and as a mentor for primary school students.
Being internationally minded, Stephan was engaged in the international student organisations BEST (Board of European Students of Technology) and ESN (Erasmus Student Network)
