Vojtěch is an experienced advisor with broad expertise in intellectual property and information technology.

Vojtěch is the head of the Intellectual Property Group in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Vojtěch specialises primarily in intellectual property and competition law. His expertise covers both contentious and non-contentious aspects of various intellectual property rights, including copyright, trademarks, designs, patents, unfair competition, information technology, domain names, trade secrets and data protection.

Besides frequent advice on numerous intellectual property (IP)/ information technology (IT) matters, he also regularly assists clients in connection with various antitrust matters, including anti-competitive practices, abuse of dominance, merger clearances and state aid. He represented clients in proceedings at the Czech Competition Authority as well as European Commission.

Vojtěch has significant industry expertise in a number of sectors, including aviation, electronic consumer products, media, life sciences, public transport and software.

He joined us in June 2009 having previously worked in Allen & Overy for five years. In 2007, he was admitted to the Czech Bar. Before starting a career in advocacy, Vojtěch worked in a Czech copyright collecting society.

Vojtěch belongs among the elite and internationally recognised experts in the intellectual property law in the Czech Republic. He was repeatedly awarded the Managing IP Star, gained the ILO Client Choice award in 2014 and 2015, was named as the WIPR Leader 2016 & 2017, recognised by Who’s Who Legal and is listed in Gold tier as an individual at the World Trademark Review.

Vojtěch gained a degree of Magister Juris in European and Comparative Law at the University of Oxford (St. Peter’s College). He also studied law at Charles University in Prague and theatre management at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague.

He is fluent in Czech and English.

Manel Muñoz

Manel Muñoz (Barcelona,1996) is a Catalan perceptual artist based in Barcelona, best known for developing and installing a cybernetic sensory organ to perceive changes in atmospheric pressure in his body. The barometric organ allows him to perceive the arrival of cyclones and anticyclones via beat frequencies transmitted through the skull. Depending on the input perceived, he can predict weather changes as well as feel at what altitude he is in.

Muñoz studied contemporary photography in Barcelona and became Cyborg Foundation’s artist in residence in 2016. In 2017, he co-founded the Transpecies Society, an association that gives voice to people who do not identify as being 100% human and raises awareness on the issues they face. The association, based in Barcelona, offers workshops specialised in the design and creation of new sensory organs.

Muñoz has shared his experience as a cyborg artist by performing and speaking in conferences and festivals in Germany, UK, Romania, Spain and The Netherlands among others.

Maria (Masha) Prusakova is a French attorney and a PR specialist working with blockchain startups and crypto conferences. Masha started her journey in crypto in 2014 working on an early bitcoin algorithm trader ExGate with a former Lehman Brothers financier. In 2017, Masha joined M&A PR Studio, consulting ICOs and blockchain startups on public relations. In 2018, she co-founded Crypto PR Lab. Before her entrepreneurial career, she worked as an attorney in M&A for Clifford Chance LLP and Gowling WLG. As a private banker for Ultra High Net Worth individuals, Masha gained experience at UBS, LGT and HSBC private banks in Switzerland and Monaco.

The former right hand of Prime Minister of Kazakhstan at the World Economic Forum, Masha together with Sasha facilitates the participation of individuals and startups at the elite Davos Conference Week.

Masha is also an accomplished snowboarder. As a professional athlete, she represented Russia in the 2006 Winter Olympic Games as the youngest participant in the snowboarding halfpipe event.

Masha holds three Master’s degrees (Sorbonne, UC Berkeley) and speaks 4 languages: Russian, French, German and English.

Today, he is a founder of iBlock Capital  – Global Fundraising And Advisory Network, and Founder & Host of iBlock TV –  YouTube, specialized in covering tech startups ecosystem.

Martin is heading the compliance services section of OSM Solutions. He has filled a lot of different roles within his 17-year spanning career in IT Security. In the last few years of his career as Head of Security for an international B2B gaming-platform provider, his main focus was the compliance and security of the complex solution offering, the coordination between internal & external stakeholders and the management of audits for regulated gaming markets.

JP is specialized in resilience-building strategies and was a Technical Consultant to The Commonwealth Secretariat and acted as advisor to 9 governments across 3 continents. Prior to joining ARQ Group, JP was the Group Board Secretary of a London and Helsinki listed mining company. He also formed part of the private secretariat of the former Prime Minister and of the Governor of the Central Bank of Malta. An economist by profession, JP followed post-graduate studies in economics and political economy at the University of Malta and the London School of Economics. André Xuereb is physicist from Malta. He read for an undergraduate degree in mathematics and physics at the University of Malta, a PhD in theoretical physics at the University of Southampton in the UK, and a master degree in entrepreneurship at the University of Malta. He is professor of atomic and quantum physics at the University of Malta, is Science Policy Officer of the Malta Chamber of Scientists, represents Malta on several European research networks, and was recently elected as the first Maltese member of the Global Young Academy. André has an active career in science, having established and leading the quantum research group at the University of Malta, and co-owns an educational software startup.

After graduating from MSU’s Greenwood High School (Springfield, Missouri), Repansek graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. He gained his graduate degrees from Cambridge University in England & Faculty of Law in Ljubljana (Diploma in European Community Law) and completed MBA study at the University of Kansas (CIMBA). Repansek is a lecturer at the Faculty of Information Studies and permanent lecturer at the Department of Photography at Faculty of Applied Sciences. Repansek is a member of several international organizations and an active panelist at various business and educational seminars and conferences. His passions include sports and flying airplanes (PPL licensed pilot).
